Terms of service

1. Our Services:
Work Van Solutions offers custom van fitouts tailored to client specifications, which may include:
• Flooring installation
• Wall and roof lining
• Electrical systems (e.g., lighting, inverters, dual batteries)
• Shelving, drawers, and racking
• Animal transport cages and safety partitions
• Other custom design and fabrication as requested.
All services are subject to a written quote and agreement.

2. Quotes and Orders:
• All quotes are valid for 30 days from issue
• A deposit of 50% is required to secure your booking
• Remaining balance is due upon completion, unless otherwise stated
• Changes to scope or materials after acceptance may result in a revised quote.

3. Customer Responsibilities:
You agree to:
• Provide accurate vehicle information
• Deliver the vehicle in clean and working condition
• Inform us of any special needs or legal requirements (e.g. animal welfare, transport compliance)
• Refrain from modifying fitout components without professional advice.

4. Vehicle Drop-Off and Liability:
While your vehicle is in our care:
• We will take reasonable steps to protect it from damage or theft
• You must remove all personal belongings and valuables prior to drop-off
• We are not liable for loss or damage to items left in the vehicle
• You remain the registered owner and are responsible for maintaining vehicle insurance.

5. Insurance and Risk:
• We maintain public liability insurance for work conducted on your vehicle
• You are responsible for insuring your vehicle against theft, fire, and other risks during the fitout period
• In the event of damage due to our negligence, our liability is limited to repair or replacement of affected components.

6. Timelines:
Estimated completion dates are provided in good faith but are not guaranteed. Delays may occur due to supply issues, custom orders, or unexpected complications. We will notify you of significant changes.

7. Warranties and Consumer Rights:
• Workmanship is covered by a 12-month warranty
• Materials and components may carry separate manufacturer warranties
• This warranty does not cover misuse, wear and tear, unauthorised modifications, or neglect
• These Terms do not override your rights under Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

8. Cancellations and Refunds:
• All cancellations will incur a fee. This fee will cover already incurred costs to Work Van Solutions
• If we cancel your booking, we will refund any payments made.

9. Website Use:
By using our website, you agree not to:
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Use our content or images without permission
• Interfere with the website’s operation or security.

10. Privacy:
We collect and handle your data in accordance with our [Privacy Policy]. We will never sell your personal information. Your data is used solely to deliver services and communicate with you.

11. Limitation of Liability:
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
• Our total liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the amount paid for the relevant fitout
• We are not liable for consequential or incidental losses (e.g. business interruption, missed bookings)
• This limitation does not apply to liability arising from our gross negligence or fraud.

12. Dispute Resolution:
In the event of a dispute:
• You agree to first attempt to resolve the matter with us in good faith
• If unresolved, both parties agree to submit the dispute to mediation in Victoria before pursuing court action
• This clause does not prevent either party from seeking urgent injunctive relief.

13. Modifications to Terms:
We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will always be available on our website. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any updates.
